What to Expect

This crochet-a-long will be working through a tapestry crochet scarf by Ty Bailie! You are able to choose any of Ty Bailie's scarfs. The pattern will be included with the purchase of this CAL. This CAL will meet 4 times total. There will be a week inbetween meet-ups to allow time to work on the project. Session 1: February 11th 5:30-7pm Session 2: February 25th 5:30-7pm Session 3: March 11th 5:30-7pm Session 4: March 25th 5:30-7pm This is an advanced-beginner pattern made up of a variety of demonstrations and techniques. Techniques for making the piece include, making a swatch, color changing, reading a graph, and weaving in loose ends and adding decorative details. There are plenty of tutorial links as well to prevent anyone from getting stumped at any point on the scarf making process. Materials Needed: o Crochet hooks (Ty Bailie used a 3.5mm hook for graphs) o Scissors o Yarn needle o Worsted weight yarn (amount varies depending on which scarf you make) o Wi-Fi/internet connection (for stitch-fiddle links) Participants will receive a 15% discount on materials purchased at Unwind GR for this CAL.
