What to Expect

This will be a multi-week Knit-A-Long that will be in conjunction with our Intro to First Sweater Class. Please do not sign up for both. This is a six-session class, ideally you would be able to attend at least four sessions to sign up. You can choose your own first sweater pattern, if you wish, but there are two top suggestions listed below for great first sweater patterns! The sweater patterns suggested are free patterns for Raglan Sweaters, if there is another pattern you wish to purchase, you may, but these are highly recommended for first sweater patterns. - Step by Step Sweater by Florence Miller - Roomy Raglan - Jules Efterfield Step By Step Sweater Info & Materials: Yarn Weight: Aran (Size 4 or 5) Gauge: 16stx20rows = 4in/10cm Yardage for Single Color: 675m (Size A) - 1125m (Size G) Sizes: A (B, C, D) (E, F, G) Throughout the pattern, use the values in the position of the size you have decided to make. Measurements: Approximately 90 (100, 110, 120) (130, 140, 150) cm finished garment bust measurement after washing and blocking. Needles: 4.5mm circular needles (40cm and 80cm lengths) 5.5mm circular needles (40cm and 80 or 100cm lengths) It is possible to use the magic loop technique to avoid the need for 40cm needles.
