What to Expect

Intermediate level knitting class, you should be familiar with knitting, and it would be helpful to have some experience knitting in the round, and with double pointed needles. The pattern for the goose and the outfits and accessories is INCLUDED in the price of the class. You will also receive enough Poly-fil to stuff one goose that is close in size to the sample, if you make a larger goose you may need additional Poly-fil. Pattern information: Construction: This pattern is worked in the round from head to feet, as one seamless piece. The wings are shaped directly from the body. The beach is knitted separately and sewn on, The eyes are embroidered on. Size: The finished height of the toy may vary depending on the yarn used Materials: Yarn: 30g of worsted/aran weight yarn for the main body 15g of worsted/aran weight yarn for the beak and feet Scrap of black or dark yarn for the eye embroidery You may use a different weight yarn, but your goose may be a different size. Needles: 5 double pointed needles 3.5mm/US4 *** If you are using a different yarn weight, make sure you are down-sizing your needles at least a size or two below the recommended size. *** Additional Materials: Tapestry needle to weave in ends Needle to embroider the eyes on Scissors
